Bethany Bible Quest, a private Christian escape-room company, ran a live Nativity-themed maze in a rented warehouse. During one evening event, Daniel entered a restricted prop loft without the required badge. Stephen, a floor marshal for Bethany Bible Quest, forced Daniel down from the loft catwalk; Daniel fell and died. Stephen was convicted of manslaughter for Daniel's death.
